Captains Blog

The year so far has gone reasonably well, maybe 8/10. The Drive-In was very well attended, my drive was okay over the lake ( phew ).

My charity this year was for Prostate Cancer, the Charity Day Shotgun Start was a success, combined with the eclectic competition, i would like to thank the Lady Captain in assisting, we raised,

£1,477-27p, thank you for all who donated prizes.

We had the Captain’s Dinner Dance which was only two thirds full.

Pleased that North Manchester was privileged to hold the Lancashire Foursome Championships which was a great day, but no competitors from North.

Jimmy Green won Captain's Final with a great score; the course was in exceptional condition

super work by the green staff.

Candlelit Dinner was very well attended, many thanks to all those who give their time to organise these functions.

New faces needed on the dance floor.

Looking forward to seeing at the New Year’s Eve Bash,

Best Wishes from your Captain Tony.
