Visitors and societies join us at North Manchester Golf Club from far and wide due to the quality of the course an our location. Our proximity to the M60 motorway, just 1 mile from Junction 19, and only two further miles from Junction 18 of the M62, with its easy access not only to Manchester itself, but also to Liverpool and the surrounding Merseyside area as well as Leeds and the trans-Pennine routes to Yorkshire, makes us an attractive destination for many golfers.
Directions to the club
From the South on the M60 Junction 19
Exit at Junction 19 and take the last exit towards Middleton. Stay in the right hand lane to go through the lights and follow the road for 1 mile. When the road bends to the right in an ‘S’ with a fishing lake on the right hand side, the entrance to the Club is on the left opposite the lay-by. For those who input the post-code into their sat-nav’s, be aware that they will try and turn you to the left one road earlier into Armitage Close. Ignore this and take the next left turning into the driveway.
From the M62 Junction 18
Join the M60 southbound at junction 18 and stay on the inside lane. This will filter off at junction 19. Take the first exit following signs for Middleton. Move into the right hand lane to go through the lights and follow Manchester Old Road for 1 mile. When the road bends to the right in an ‘S’ with a fishing lake on the right hand side, the entrance to the Club is on the left opposite the lay-by.
By Train/Air
The nearest mainline station is Manchester Victoria and nearest local station, Mills Hill, only 2 miles away on the Oldham Loop Line & Calverdale Lines. Manchester International Airport is only 23 miles away & takes only 30 minutes via the M60 and M56.
Parking
Ample car parking is available to guests adjacent to the clubhouse. Secure parking with access code on exit.
